Mission, vision and values

The Third Sector Platform is a statewide organization, non-profit organization that was born on January 10, 2012 with the intention of uniting and amplifying the voice of the third sector.

Founded by seven organizations: Volunteer Platform of Spain (PVE), NGO Platform for Social Action (POAS), European Network for Combating poverty and social exclusion in Spain (EAPN-ES), the Spanish Committee Representatives of People with Disabilities (CERMI), Red Cross, Caritas and ONCE, his work is the defense of the social as well as promoting equality between people.

Our Work

• Generate proposals for all people, especially the most vulnerable.
• Deepening the internal cohesion of associations in Spain.
• Encourage citizen participation and volunteering.
• Ensuring social partnership with government.
• Promote improvements within the third sector.
• Strengthen the role of organizations operating in the area regional and local levels.
• Support and propose policies at European, national and regional level to promote equality of all citizens.
